I got a helpful but frustrated person on the phone who informed me the box was broken and the mail was being held at the post office. ![]() Here it is a week later andI called on Monday because the line for service was literally through the lobby and back to the front door at 1030. The problem might be not ownership of the route so no one reports the damage box or delivers the mail. I know they are using fill in personnel to assist in getting mail out. I was told there was no report of a damaged mailbox and the mail was on the truck. On Wednesday, my in person day, I explained someone had tried to break into the community mailbox and maybe that was why I got no mail. The post office was contacted either by phone or in person on 4 different days and I was told all 4 times"it shows your mail is on the truck for delivery". Last week we got no mail the entire week. For the last month our mail has been hit and miss every 2-3 days. ![]() I know they are short staffed because of Covid and increased packages. ![]()
